Â
This Holiday Ham is a delicious and easy Holiday meal made extra special with a homemade orange cranberry glaze. It starts with a store bought, fully cooked, spiral sliced ham. In this recipe we simply season and re-smoke that ham ad apply a delicious glaze near the end. This is where the classic, double smoked, names comes from.Â

Ingredients
- 1, 10 lb spiral sliced ham (fully cooked)
- Meat Church The Gospel AP Seasoning
- Orange Cranberry GlazeÂ
- Disposable steam pan or baking (cooling) rack
- Instant Read Thermometer
Prepare your smokerÂ
Prepare your smoker at a temperature of 350. In this video we used a Traeger Timberline with Meat Church pellets (oak\hickory), but pecan or fruit woods would also be a good choice. Â
Prepare the ham
The ham will take at least 3 - 3.6 hours to cook depending on the weight to get near our final desired internal temperature of 140. The 10 lb ham in this video took 2.5 hours.
Remove the ham from the packaging. Rinse and pat dry.Â
Season liberally with Meat Church The Gospel making sure to open up the slices and apply some seasoning inside.
Allow the seasoning to adhere for at least 20 minutes.Â
Place the ham on a cooking rack on a pan disposable pan to catch drippings and excess glaze which will help keep your smoker or grill clean.Â
Cook the ham
Note: Since the ham was already fully cooked, you are simply re-heating it or double smoking it to 130- 140 internal temperatureÂ
Place the ham in the smoker.
Make the homemade Orange Cranberry Glaze when the ham reaches 115.
Glaze the ham when it reaches 120 degrees internal temp.
Cook for another 30 minutes or until your desired color and doneness,
Remove the ham from the smoker.
And allow it to rest 15 minutes.
Carve & enjoy!
