Back in 2014 when I was trying to name our Honey Pecan seasoning, I had a few cocktails in the pool with Mrs. Meat Church while listening to old-school hip-hop. I suddenly yelled “Deez Nuts” and the seasoning was named. I had our cartoon artist illustrate several versions for the label, and I kept asking him to move the pecans lower and and lower. When he got to the art pictured with the pecans at the squirrel’s nuts, Tracie Pittman said “absolutely not!”
